The Railway Executive Lounges in India
Introduction
IRCTC opens a world-class Executive Lounge (private waiting Area) as part of the development of the Indian Railway. Executive Lounge is one of its class fully air-conditioned facilities where railway passengers can stay while waiting for their trains. This post will describe the list of Railway Executive Lounges in India.
There are only a few Railway stations in India which are having this facility available now:

Important Info – Don’t miss to read it !!
- One photo identity proof issued by Govt. like a PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, Aadhar Card, Driving License etc and a valid train ticket either reserved or unreserved can be used as ID Proof for visiting Executive Lounge.
- Any bonafide Railway passenger can stay at Executive Lounge.
- All visa/master/maestro debit/credit cards are accepted at Executive Lounge.
- Access to the lounge is controlled by a smart card which is issued to each passenger at the time of check-in. Passengers are required to swipe the smart card at the entry door to enter/exit from the Lounge. Once the card is swiped, the time is recorded and the time of stay starts. Entry and exit times are automatically calculated in the system.
- Charges for children up to 3 feet in height are complimentary. Anyone above 3 feet in height shall be considered personal and charges applicable shall be charged.
- Any Railway passenger may use the lounge services, otherwise eligible, and families travelling in groups or for marriages may also come to the lounge. However, it is suggested that in such cases check availability in advance at the executive lounge.

- Executive Lounge is available on 139. One may SMS “Lounge” to 139 and a revert SMS shall be sent from 139. Lounge operating Timings and availability as per the slot (2 hours). Open at: 00:00 Close at: 24:00.

- For Suite Room: 3 hrs – Rs 1,000, 6 hrs – Rs 1,300, 12 hrs – Rs 2,000, 24 hrs – Rs 2,500.
